Undergraduate admissions continue to rise

The freshmen classes at New Mexico State University have grown from year to year since the late 1990s, and this year is no different. Bernadette Montoya, assistant vice president for Enrollment Management, said as of 8 a.m. on Wednesday, the unduplicated count of freshmen was 2,356, bringing the total number of NMSU undergraduate and graduate students to 17,880.

Letter: Support for Wildnerness Act

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the article, “Tea Party protests federal Wilderness Act,” by Shannon Ostrowsky, in last week’s The Round Up.  Ms. Ostrowsky did a very poor job of covering the proposed Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks Wilderness Act, an issue that is very close to home and very important to many residents of Dona Ana County. 2 comments

Right? Well, we hope so.
