Campus input session about bookstore sees inconsiderable turnout

The NMSU Request For Proposal review committee held the second campus input session concerning the bookstore's services and operations Thursday to hear comments and feedback from the community. "It's an evaluation process," head of the RFP committee and director of auxiliary operations at NMSU Tammy Anthony said in response to many questions concerning the outsourcing of the bookstore and the purpose of the RFP.

Mixed martial arts slams the Pan Am

Mixed martial arts returned to Las Cruces with Southwest Fight Promotions organizing the event at the Pan American Center on Friday. The event was only for amateur fighters, fighting not for money, but for a shot at the "big time," the ultimate goal for all fighters.
